Fred Smith is a Professor of Economics at Davidson College. As a microeconomist, he teaches courses in urban, public, sports, and American economic history. A Davidson resident, he once volunteered on the Davidson Volunteer Fire Department. He is currently a member of the board for the HealthReach Community Clinic in Mooresville.
