Charles Flynn, MA
Charles Flynn, MA

Charles W. Flynn has 45 years of experience in land development and the effects it has on the environment and the people who reside there. Most recently, he spent two decades as the Executive Director of the Riverfront Development and Yuma Crossing National Heritage Area in Yuma, Arizona. During that time, he managed and coordinated the $100 million riverfront redevelopment project, which included new park development, wetlands restoration, and commercial revitalization. Since Yuma is at the southern end of the Colorado River in the U.S., and is directly impacted by what happens upriver, Charles worked extensively with various entities, public and private, along the entire Colorado River system.

In addition to his time in Yuma, Charles has been responsible for large development projects in West Virginia and Pennsylvania. He has also held high-level positions in finance, housing, and development within the City of New York government; and has served as a legislative assistant to Congressman Edward Koch.
