Steve brings nearly fifty years of experience in software development, spanning software architecture, mobile computing, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. Most recently, he served as a Principal Software Engineer at Microsoft, leading teams focused on applying AI to improve healthcare and patient outcomes. Steve collaborated closely with physicians and researchers at Johns Hopkins and The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, working with leading experts in antibiotic stewardship, venous thrombosis, and pancreatic cancer to advance patient care through innovative applications of AI.

Prior to working in the healthcare space, Steve was an architect for mobile solutions, a frequent speaker at mobile computing events around the world, and author of a security white paper the US Department of Homeland Security used as a blueprint for securing their mobile applications and services.
