Linda Austin, MD from Duke University Medical School, served as Professor of Psychiatry at the Medical University of South Carolina with a special interest in teaching the public about mental health and preventative medicine in media-based programs. She hosted the public radio program, What’s on Your Mind? for thirteen years, has written three books, produced four films on mental health issues, and has appeared on numerous television interview shows including Oprah Winfrey.
