Helen Miller, who earned her PhD from Texas A&M University, has published research on plant biology, crop science, biochemistry, and food nutrition. She has worked at the US Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Research Service labs, as well as Oak Ridge National Labs. Her research focused on the effects of various stressors -- such as insects, temperature, and water deficit -- on plant growth.
