Dan Fogel, PhD
Dan Fogel, PhD

Dan Fogel received his B.S. and M.A. from the Pennsylvania State University and his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin.  He has held various academic and administrative positions at the University of Houston, Tulane University, the University of Pittsburgh, and Wake Forest University School of Business. He was dean of the International Management Center in Budapest, Hungary and dean of the Czech Management Center in Prague, Czech Republic. Most recently, he directed the Master of Arts in Sustainability program at Wake Forest University and is their graduate school research professor of sustainability, emeritus.


Dan Fogel has published in behavioral studies, education, health care, psychology, sociology, economics, and management journals, and has written several book chapters, books, cases, and popular press articles.  His forthcoming book is Near Enemies: Why I Wish I Argued More with My Wife.


His awards include numerous research grants, multiple teacher-of-the-year awards, Fulbright Scholarships to Brazil and Portugal, and several times Distinguished Professor awards.
