Instructors
Shyam Gouri Suresh, PhD

After completing his education through high school in India, Shyam Suresh came to the US and earned a BS in Engineering (honors) and Economics (honors) from Trinity College, Hartford, CT, and a PhD in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin. He subsequently worked for Deloitte Tax before beginning his career as an economics professor at Trinity College (2009-2010) and Davidson College (since 2010). His broad research agenda includes such topics as macroeconomics methodology, agent-based modeling, game theoretic foundations of ethical reasoning, poverty traps, and inequality.
