About the Event
This program is presented by Davidson Public Arts Commission and Lia Newman, Director and Curator of Davidson College Art Galleries. Lia will talk about the history and the mission of the Arts Commission, will highlight recent acquisitions, and will introduce future projects.
Participants will watch the premiere of a short video showing examples of art around the Town of Davidson and the Davidson College campus. Lia will highlight pieces of art from the film and will discuss the artists who created them.
