About the Event
Road cycling is good exercise and good for the environment. Done solo or with others, it can provide meaningful physical benefits and social connections. The key to road cycling success is knowing where and how to ride safely. Bicycle selection and preparation, physical preparedness, and the consistent use of safe practices can help you avoid the pitfalls and enjoy your ride.
Scott Higgins is a retired university senior administrator, a community leader, and an advocate for pedestrian and cycling safety.
