About the Event

Daniel Heath and Doug Ottati will join us to talk about the Davidson Forum, a new initiative encouraging Davidson College and the surrounding communities to explore the intersections of the Reformed theological tradition, liberal arts education, religious pluralism and social ethics. The Davidson Forum will offer lectures, seminars, workshops and experiential learning led by the college’s faculty and scholars from other institutions. Its mission is to put Davidson’s educational and ethical values to work toward diverse, equitable and just communities.

Daniel Heath, Director of the Davidson Forum, is a teacher, a lawyer, a musician and a minister, with degrees from Morehouse College, the University of North Carolina School of Law, Winthrop University and Princeton Theological Seminary, with a doctoral degree in ministry in process at Columbia Theological Seminary. In addition to serving as Director of the Davidson Forum, Daniel also serves as an associate chaplain at Davidson College.
