* The North Carolina Baroque Orchestra Concert starts at 3:00. The pre-concert program is free, but there is a ticket charge for the concert. Tickets are available on the M@SA website.
Join The North Carolina Baroque Orchestra (NCBO) as they explore an intriguing program of music by composers born in one country who traveled to other countries to compose and play music.
You’ll hear the influences of their birthplaces, along with influences from their adventures in other lands. The concert includes music by a black composer and a female composer from the baroque period.
The North Carolina Baroque Orchestra is a period instrument ensemble co-founded in 2011 by sisters Frances Blaker (artist director) and Barbara Blaker Krumdieck (executive director and cellist).
The North Carolina Baroque Orchestra is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
