About the Event
In 2013, Mayors Against Illegal Guns and Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America came together to tackle a shared goal of ending gun violence. Since then, they have combined the best minds in research, policy, litigation, advocacy, and grassroots organizing to grow Everytown for Gun Safety into a movement of nearly 10 million supporters.
Scarlett Voter Hollingsworth joined Moms Demand Action in 2017. She has been the North Carolina state Twitter lead and is now the Charlotte Moms Demand Action Group Lead. She is also the communications manager for the Indivisible NC O9 group in Charlotte.
Grace McLain serves as the North Carolina Chapter Co-Lead for Moms Demand Action and is part of the Charlotte group.
