Mark Washburn
Mark Washburn is a semi-retired Charlotte Observer reporter and columnist who has spent his career in a variety of editing and writing roles. He served as media writer for the Observer for a decade, has been a war correspondent in Iraq, was the state editor of The Miami Herald, and writes a monthly column for the Observer's opinion page.
