Instructors
Annie Merrill, PhD

Annie Merrill is the Thomson Professor of Environmental Studies and Professor of English at Davidson College. She directs the College’s Environmental Studies program. She is coeditor of Coming Into Contact: Explorations in Ecocritical Theory and Practice (University of Georgia, 2007) and has published articles on 19th-century American women writers, 20th-century American environmental literature, service learning and ecocomposition, and contemporary environmental justice literature.
